Key Product Lines of Simer Instruments
Pots, Syphons & Sample Cylinders
These are used for instrument protection (e.g., gauge pressure measurement) by isolating or cooling process fluids.
Level Gauges
Transparent and reflex level gauges for visual level monitoring in tanks, vessels, and process systems.
Thermowells & Thermoelements
Protective thermowells and thermocouples/thermoelements for temperature measurement in harsh process environments.
Flow Elements
Orifice Plates
Precision orifice plates for accurate flow measurement in liquids and gases.
Orifice Flanges
Flange-mounted orifice elements to integrate into piping systems.
Venturi Tubes & Flow Nozzles
(part of flow elements) used for flow metering.
Pitot Tubes
For low-pressure, large pipeline measurements with good repeatability (~±0.15 %).
Flow Conditioners
Such as the Zanker flow conditioner plate, which reduces swirl per ISO/ASME standards.
Restriction Orifice Plates
Includes multistage restriction orifices for flow control.
Threaded Orifice Union
Modular restriction orifice assemblies that use interchangeable orifice plates.
Valves & Manifolds
Valves
Simer manufactures ball valves and needle valves in various materials.
Manifolds
A variety of bar-stock and forged manifolds—e.g., two-valve, three-valve by-pass, and five-valve designs.
Blow-Back Valves
Single Blow-Back (BB1): Allows purging of lines under high pressure (up to ~100 bar). Three-valve with Blow-Back (BB3V): Provides purge and measurement/control capability.
Manifold Accessories
Oval flanges (e.g., FO-P, FO-S) for specialized manifold mounting. Bolts, brackets, and other mounting hardware.
Pneumatic System Devices
Components such as air filter regulators, purge flow meters, double/single purge systems, and pneumatic switches.
Flushing Rings & Fuse Plugs
Flushing Rings: Allow cleaning or purging sampling lines. Fuse Plugs: Safety devices that relieve pressure in overpressure situations.
Key Product Lines of Simer Compression Fittings
Single Ferrule Compression Fittings
These are designed for reliable, leak-proof connections in low to medium-pressure applications.
Materials: Stainless steel (AISI 316, 304), duplex stainless, Inconel, Hastelloy, brass, etc.
Types under this range include unions, male/female connectors, weld connectors, and spare parts.
Weld connectors: Designed to be welded directly to pipes for a permanent, robust joint.
Double (Twin) Ferrule Compression Fittings
Provide a very strong seal due to their double-ferrule design — ideal for high pressure and high temperature systems.
Material options are similarly broad (stainless steel, duplex, Inconel, etc.).
Sub-types include:
Unions — for connecting two tubes together with high sealing capacity.
Weld-end fittings — for permanent welded joints.
Plugs — used to cap off or seal the end of a fitting.
Adaptors and other connectors (tees, elbows, etc.) are also part of this range.
37° Compression Fittings
These use a 37° angle-seat design which gives very reliable sealing, especially under demanding conditions.
Used in chemical, petrochemical, and process industries, where high reliability is critical.
Available in a wide variety of alloys (stainless steel, Inconel, Hastelloy, etc.) per customer specification.
Compression-Fitting Valves
Simer also makes valves that integrate compression fittings to allow control of fluid or gas in instrumentation lines.
These are used in industrial systems where a valve and fitting need to be combined, simplifying installation and reducing leak risk.
